In early 2026, we exported two units of internal gear pumps for chocolate plant in Russia, these gear pumps are equipped with reducers for less than 200 rpm speed because of high viscosity chocolate liquid, and food grade gland packing shaft seal is applied for extended service life and easy maintenance, also there are heating jacket for pump casings to maintain optimal temperature throughout the process. That is a great achievement for such a sensitive application, and demonstrates SMC gear pump reliability and suitability. Internal gear pump is ideally suited for handling viscous fluid like chocolate or fat, molasses, the gentle pumping action minimizes shear stress, preserve the quality of product.
